Air Guitar is an all-acoustic extended-play CD (36 minutes). This recording features Second Sufis acoustic guitar studio performances from the period 1988 to 1994. The pieces present melodies resulting from the interaction of alternate cross-picking patterns on two Ovation guitars -- an esoteric technique. While many of the pieces are pure acoustic compositions (digitally recorded with 20-bit sampling of analog tape or 20-bit direct digital dithered down to 16 bits), the CD ends with a tape loop acoustic improvisation (Dream Sequence).
